Time do fly .
Went to my boyfriend's convocation from Okaholma City University (OCU) last Saturday @ the Ritz Carlton Hotel, SG.
It was fun to see him finally finishing his Bachelors after 2 years. Saw a couple of his friends at the reception, it was good. MDIS had published the entire name list of OCU graduates in the Streats, 15th October 2004, Friday. A good effort on their part, along with the University of Bradford.
In the beginnning of the course, I thought that 2 years was a tad long, and the 1-month separation (this year's May to June 04) which took him to Oklahoma,US. I thought I never survive the month-long separation. It was good that he called every night there & it was morning here. So it made the distance seemed nearer. He'd seen places in OK, TX, LA, the people and culture there. It was a new experience to be had. I'd wished I could had gone to the same places and people too.
But another part about his course, was that I met a couple of nice classmates of his & known 2 classmates who just gotten married, one towards the of the course & the other was 2 weekends before today - Wow ! Have a blessed marriage thereafter !
I think at the end of any learning experience there will be the achievement because of the effort and the thought processes that went into the course of studies.
I think the places and people won't cease to fascinate me, so everyday is a good day !
But it can be better with exciting things to remember by ~
Now that my boyfriend had finished his degree, so he is looking for a related job.
