Life is short, let's face it.
Plenty of chances and changes of its highs and low lows.
It just seem like yesterday that my neighbor moved in with his wife & 3 kids.
I thought that hey, some one's our neighbor, should be quite fun & all.
It is.
His kids are my brother & my childhood friends, those are the times =)
It's been a good 20 - 22 years since they moved in with us, there were times when we were busy with our own things, they with theirs, some petty misunderstandings (but we persisted for our friendship), in all still good.
Apparently he had an heart attack when he was in Genting, his wife & their 2 relatives + 1 friend were with him. The Genting clinic could not revive him even when he was not dead and brought to their clinic. WTF?!
After he died, the KL police TOOK their sweet time to register their case. AND their level of English was SO APPALLING, that they only know how to converse in Malay. & the family friend was instructed by the policeman attending to them to type the incident report in English, so he typed.
I really wonder why bother at all to have a police force at all - while one hand to promote tourism, the other services such as medical and security aspects were so downtrodden. It's downright disgusting.
And the funeral services from KL didn't do their homework about getting the proper documentations - such that they missed out the one about the export permit from JB to SG - the poor wife got to wait for about 3 hours at the JB Customs? The poor woman was in shock (had started holding her husband's jacket and started to talk to the jacket while in the police station). Such Service!
I was angry for the past few days now.
