Remembering of the days that gone past and the ones that left us

When I was a child, I had a maternal and a paternal grand mother.

My paternal Grandmother passed on, then my maternal Grandmother passed on in a few years' time.
It was a scary thing to know, that some one with Great age can cease to be living and I can no longer see them again.

Later on, when I was about 14, one Girl whom I knew at Church died. She was 21, and with cancer. That I didn't know till another church mate told me.

When I was 18, my friend died in an motor bike accident. When I was about 26-27, another friend & his wide-to be died in a Thow overcrowding and they sunk into the sea of Bahrain.

All of these death, physical and soul departing, was a deep shock.

In the hestitancy to bring forth life, and every day that the lives are departing.. it is very scary.
There are places and nooks to hide, but one day that when this is really nothing to be bothered with, perhaps is the day where I really look Jesus in his work at Death.

While we are learning to walk

While we are still in the infancy, that we are learning many many things
Fascinating day , everyday
Sometimes we babble , fall or spit
That we will learn to talk clearly, walk steadily and hold in our words even when the situation is really trying
It's Great the Jesus in in Our Lives that we can 'taste' or experience His Finished work, and I won't be pre-occupied with the World.

Be Lighted

In the long wait for the return, we must to only wait, wait with the knowledge of our Lord
Let the Faith of Jesus
Ignite and let Light burn
That we will Always have light in our lives
That we will Always be ready.

A Little Patience

A little patience while I am the child and am growing.
A little faith that I do not stumble in my understanding.
While that I am still small, that I am still learning to be growing in strength in the Lord's knowledge.
While I am small of faith, one day I will excel like Moses did.
When the help of my Lord is still on it's way, I shall have faith, that the turbulence will sweep pass.
I shall not falter to bend and crack under the winds.
That one day my Lord establishes my roots and my life firmly.
Amen.

Disciple whom Jesus loved

In John, he was mentioning that 'disciple whom Jesus loved', John was acutely aware of Jesus's Love for each of the persons who came to rely on Jesus' ever lasting water.

Only John came close to rely on Jesus. This is depicted at the last supper, when John lay on Jesus' bosom, to rest on.
This pointed out a number of things:
1. In order to rest totally on someone , you need trust the person completely
2. To trust a person completely, you will need to be Aware (and understand) of the Love that is the meaning of Jesus and Jesus sacrifice on the cross(to fulfill the demands of the sin Debt to God or to fulfill the demands of the Law(sin debt) ).

Even Peter, who claims to be the Advocate for Jesus, still need John to ask Jesus who will betray Jesus (at the last Supper) ?
Peter's mindset was using works of himself (Peter) for Jesus, but John was the depiction of the Love and reliance on Jesus (Grace). If the shepherd calls for his lambs to come into his protection (Jesus' protection), do the lambs still go out to fight the lions? No! The Shepherd will do the fighting. When the lambs are at rest, the Shepherd protects! That is like what John is doing. It is the same with Martha and Mary, to demonstrate the relationship that The Lord wants for us.

As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"

"Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her." Luke 10:38-42 NIV
1. Upset about many things :: to be concern of the daily food and the demands of the world
2. Mary had chosen the better , how? By Listening to Jesus :: to be feeding on Jesus's Grace and teachings; this will not be taken away. That is even when the storm rose against you, the calmer of the storms is JESUS ! Rely on Him , he will show you the way. Listen to him, he will open the teachings of the Bible onto and into you. The richness of the Lord's kingdom when the wayward son seeks his Father's forgiveness and the Father slaughter the fatten calf (opening the abundance) for the son to enjoy!

So come close and listen of Jesus.

Abundance to Fill Everything!

Maybe the natural sight had never got a chance to view in to the Heaven yet.
In The Lord God plan, it had been his plan to welcome us back to his home, the one that we had left before (the original sin) when we were born. In many ways, I was reminded of The Lord's abundance for us, when Jesus took the Cross of the the sacrificial Lamb on the cross of wood(man's labor). When we accepted Jesus's sacrifice for us, a exchange was made, that we enter into the rest of the Lord and that the sin debt was paid to the Lord. Each man needs to acknowledge and have Jesus' blood redeem for each man's sins. No other is accepted (Genesis 4:3 to 4:8). No work of the hands (self effort) or the blood of bulls/ lambs will not be able to take away sins(Heb 10:4).

In plain sight, I still see death everywhere on this earth.

In my view of Jesus, he has given me plenty in Abundance and Eternal water, overflowing refreshness that I could possiblity contain or drink. Often it is not the physical thirst, but the thirst and the wish of returning to the actual home of the Lord. The only place and time when I know in certainty that I will not be in fear, or be in the wilderness any more.
In the darkest night when there seem no reason on why I could not sleep, mediating (hargar/ hagai) on the teachings and worshiping the Lord and Jesus, brings the restlessness to rest, and the dark to light.
' At his feet, that I rest, that I know in certainty that he who know light will clear my paths and led me on the path that he had set out for me and give me Shelter and Rest.

I learnt about a path of Genelogy of Jesus yesterday. As follows:
Adam         :: Man
Seth           :: Appointed
Enosh         :: Mortal
Kenan        :: Sorrow
Mahalalel   :: The Blessed God
Jared          :: Shall Come down
Enoch         :: Teaching
Methuselah :: His Death shall bring
Lamech      :: Powerful Rest
Noah          :: Rest
His Name is Jesus.

In Sarai, her name was changed from Sarai to Sarah
God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but her name will be Sarah.I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her. Yes, I will bless her, and she will be a mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her.”

Read the Hebrew from Right to left
Sarai ::  שרי
Sarah ::שרה

In Exodus, this chapter is talking about the leaving of Law/ bondage behind. It talks about the many aspects of the worldly cares/ concerns that are happening on several levels: physical, crops(food/ commerce/ financial standing/ country survival), menace (plague to physical environment to cellular (within the body), to deep seated perceptions (of the King/ peoples'), the people's pride in their works of their hands (magicians, the king trusts and they persisted in disbelief). and The PASSOVER . The pass over in Exodus is the Lamb that was eaten and eaten in haste, the blood that was covered on the wooden doors of the believer. This passover feast was for the nourishment of the body during that time in the place of Egypt and departure from the place of Law/ Bondage.  In the same correspond, Jesus was nailed on the wood (the physical death) to Exchange for us ! Jesus's nourishment (during our time on earth and that when Jesus come for us in the end times, the believers (the mark of Jesus) will be taken (they are spared for the 2nd death) and the plagues/ destruction.

Restlessness

In the tens, I dream of growing to twenties when I can really start to fly. Having enjoyed the Twenties that life fly by so fast while I was having fun, to find that years slip by and the physics of the body could not catch on , that there are some sports that I can no longer do as well or as fast. That it dawn on that I'm entering into thirties.

I'm so not looking forward for it. shrugs ...

In the fold of the Garment

Spread a fold of your Garment over me.
That I come into your protection and surplus.

That Boaz had extend this grace over to Ruth the Gentile, that the Vine is merged with the wild wine respectively , that the Gentile is allowed into the Jews's table to share with Jesus at God's House.

When Jesus was in Tyre & Sidon :

21Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
22And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25Then came she and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

  Come wilt your thirst.

In the space of Time

Yes , it was a long time that I took , to share about Jesus. Even my friend yesterday, he was surprised that I've not spoken about Jesus or my faith in Jesus, despite the number of years that I've known my friend.

I am not comfortable sharing Jesus before as I had many wounds that I was healing from.
I've since gotten scars and overcame my shyness about them.
In a way, I've survived these trials, and wore my scars as badges of faith of Jesus .
Where I have the opportunity, I will share Jesus. Of how he had gave me a reason to live without fear and stand in His Strength and replenish from His living water.
Amen !

One Sleepless night

One Sleepless night in the book of Esther, the King was kept awake . For a King to be kept awake when he is already secure in his reign, that Sleepless night was rare.

On that Sleepless night, the King asks for the book of remembrance, and going through that book, he found that Mordecai was not rewarded for informing and helping the King to foil the plot to kill the King.
He proceeds to reward Mordecai, and subsequently allows Esther to intercede for the lives of the Jews (to arm & fight) ; even as the King's decree was issued for the elimination of the Jews.

Whenever I was kept awake, I have something very heavy beyond what I can endure. It was sleepless night.

In the recent episode, it was over a shipment for a important project. Throughout the whole process, it was hard and got even harder on that instance. That night, it was hard to sleep, I do remember that I only fell asleep in the wee hours when the dawn was about to break. That night I was in silent rememberance of the Lord Jesus, I was trusting him to do the work, in the perfect work and the move the places where I'm not there.
And the following morning when I woke, my head was bursting from lack of peaceful sleep, the work and the hurdle that I wanted to go over with my own effort, but had given up to Lord Jesus , was solved. The relief was complete.

Often, in my moments of quiet, I often mused, that I often try to do and show for my work , on my own efforts, SO many times, I've been shown the Grace of the Lord. In Jesus, the work was already completed even before I even realized.

Reach over, talk to him, cultivate his presence, hear his heart beat. He has been teaching me for a long time now. For the longest time , the road that I had once taken, the rocky outpost, the windy wilderness, had changed the landscape. It was not easy to hand over the Reins and trust in the Lamb and to Rest completely, aside the stream - Psalm 25 & 27 I now know and remind myself that When the shepherd does his job, the lamb rests.

Where is the rain ?

Across this earth, there are stretches of land which is blotched and parched.
The lives in those lands are birthed in parts.
They may see that it is a norm to be birthed as they are but what I see is that that is no rain.
The air had been frozen to be thick with particles from the fires from around, forming the clouds of smog.
No rain comes through
Trees with only branches to show for the spring that it once had bloomed flowers of new life from
Dust that swirl in the wind like abandoned children
None to water the land, none to feed, no honey or milk in those lands

Time for Goodbyes and Hellos

Today I was thinking that if I fall, who was with me, next to me when I fall.

If I had fell years ago, I won't have happily gotten up like I do now. I'm glad that Jesus in my life, and the many people who had taught me courage, of life, of encouragement one way or another.

In a way, it's Goodbye to the old me, and Hello to the new me.

Even if I don't feel if I don't belong, even if I'm not really there, say a little prayer for us, to stand firm and happily stand in light.

The Last Night On Earth Lyrics - Delta Goodrem

It's the last night on earth
Before the great divide
My hands are shaking time was
Never on our side

There's no such thing
As a beautiful goodbye
As an ordinary day
I prayed for you a thousand times

It's never enough
No matter how many times
I try to tell you this is love

If tomorrow never comes
I want you to know right now that I
I'm gonna love you until the day I die
And if tomorrow falls asleep
Can you hold me first
I'm gonna love you like
It's the last night on earth
Like it's the last night on earth

A penny for your thoughts
A picture so it'll last
Lets knock down the walls of immortality
Your fingers on my skin
Only you can hear my fear
Only you can help me heal
I see forever with you here

It's never enough
No matter how many miles stand between us
This is love

If tomorrow never comes
I want you to know right now that I
I'm gonna love you until the day I die
And if tomorrow falls asleep
Can you hold me first
I'm gonna love you like
It's the last night on earth
Like it's the last night on earth

It's never enough, no
It's never enough
It's never enough

The afterglow
The horizan line
The shadows fall
Will you still be mine?
Will you still be mine?
Will you still be mine?
I ask

If tomorrow never comes
I want you to know right now that I
I'm gonna love you until the day I die
(And if tomorrow falls asleep)
'Til the day I die
Can you hold me first
I'm gonna love you like
It's the last night on earth
Like it's the last night on earth
It's the last night on earth
It's never enough

Taste And See - Psalm 34

Why is it not See & Taste?

To see the natural situation, to see what the World is failing, there is no annointment of Grace

To Taste, Taste and experience the Grace of God, of this relationship to communion with YOU, to fellowship with God and then to see the changes God brings to your life, when you lean on HIM , that's when you will experience his anointment on your life !

When the going get tough , keep on Plugging

I remember Rick saying this to me.
It's a support and advice that I still get motivated to go on forward.

if this way is not doable, go the other, and the other and the other.
Sometimes, the route does give you more knocks and gets the wind out of you, turn you inside out, and gets in your hair or on your nerves, Keep on going and plugging.

Eventually you will get nearer to where you want to be than if you had stood at your spot and thinking of what if , had or nots.

Thanks Rick.

Nebuchadnezzar_II

Who the Lord humbles, he did.
Man appointed himself free from God, by his pride, he stood amongst his peers and proclaim self-made Kingship.
Through the ages, many Greats rise and fall. How many did the Lord walk with? Have you?

Before the Lord, no one is able to to stand, unless He allows.
No one is able to walk on Water , unless permission is given.

Floats

An empty feeling, for the longest time, I've never been filled
Not any material items could capture my interest, my attention
Yes I do see the decay
All that the feeling within feels dry, the living water quenches.

In the Wilderness

I remember a time that I was standing alone in the wilderness.

I saw the world coming into being, fading or cut off in the midst of activity.

I see the colors of the wilderness' world swill , shifting in shapes and textures, concentrated in its aroma and odors. It was full of itself, satisfied that it had achieved by its own strength.

I was puzzled that despite there is no permanence yet the world was drunk in its own trophies, its purported safety.

I also remembered the living water that washed me clean of the dust of this world. It had kept me in rest ever since.

The Sower

I heard the Hokkien Pastor Henry's sermon's the other day, there was a section that was about the role of Christians who had been saved by Jesus. In it, the Christians who are saved, when they try to share about Jesus, they are actually 'sowing'. 'Sowing' for Jesus to come into the unsaved's lives.

There is a parable that Jesus had said before, it's the parable of the sower. It meant where and how you sow your seeds will affect the lives of the seed that is trying to grow. Sow in bad soil, rocky places, the seed may sprung up, but just to die. Sow in good soil and tender care, the seed will take root and live long. In the same, for the seed to know who is the living water is hard, it has many distractions and physical conditions to work though, let alone know how to drink of the living water.

In summary, a good guide will point/sow the way to Jesus. Jesus will show the seed the way back to him.

Start and End

There are many Beginnings, some exploding with Joy, Some stained with Despair.
Some Endings are marked in Tears, some are with Relief.

'He will not let your foot slip, he who watches over you will not slumber '
Psalm 121:3

A little step

A Little Step, trend onward silently, no one notices
Forward a little distance
The scene changes
The view spreads outwards
Take in the vastness of this image
Take heart

Sometimes

Today a friend told me a piece of good news, one of our friends got a baby and is delivering soon.
Time do fly, when I first knew her.
Over these years, we had drifted far away, though living in the same town. I suppose that we don't have much to talk about anymore. Gone are the days where she knew what I was thinking from 1 look.
I have much to owe her to. Some things that I would want to apologize for, some things that I want to thank her for.
There is a part of me that will always remember her fondly and dearly. For the the support also when I was just a young christian.

Time is a thing that we simply don't have for each other. However so, I wish her well still.

Just about anything

BITE !!

ROAR !!

I need sleep..... thank to super powerful tea I had yesterday night, in the end I slept maybe 3-4 hours !

Somewhat

Curve balls are a fun way to shock and upset every orderly situations.
I think that I've gotten the knack somewhat to get the gist of it and float on. =*
These days the weather's hot, the air's mushy and dusty. Wonder when's the rains deciding to let up?

Maybe will hit the pools this weekend.

It's a New Year After all

I'm enjoying my new work this year, plenty of growth and new stuff to do =)

Times that passes, when a star fades out of this world. It's a terrible time.
My granny passed on when I was 9, my cousin's granny passed on recently. She's the nice granny that I had remembered, fed me when I was growing, partly filling the shoes of my granny.
Sometimes when a star fades, her goodness left great impressions on the living.
I'll see her when I see her then, when then..
