Hah !

This December is a really slow month. I felt like staying home for the whole month.
The weather was much better than last december having no strong gusts of wind or weeklong hard rain.

Most of my plants died from lack of watering and limited sunshine. But I guessed water shortage was the main
cause since I don't feel like watering.

My journey with Jesus had seen some break throughs .
I had began to sincerely wanting to pray for more people that I care about . Actually devoting more time for prayer . I am proud of the lord to meet my prayer for my god daughter ! Although she was born 1 week premature , but she has born with painless contractions and healthy . Now 2 mths old , she weighs 6 kgs and is a sweet girl with little tantrums.
The other day, my brother drove my dad , mom and I back to my house . On the way back , I keep telling him to slow down , it seems odd because in the 5 years that he was driving , I had never doubted his driving skills nor in the 1st year when he was on the probation pass. So near my house at the traffic cross junction , we nearly had a hit from the incoming car.
My brother's car was moving straight . 2 cars was in the opposite lane , preparing to make a quarter turn. The 1 st car made the u turn , this was illegal u turn . The 2nd car followed behind , not to make a u turn but to make a quarter turn to go up the express way. My brother' s car followed behind the 1 st car . The 2nd car almost collided into my brother's car.
The 2 nd car driver was talking to his girl friend and did not pay attention to traffic.

There are even times when a feeling of dread rises and it is for a certain person, when this happens I will pray soon for that person .
I am reading books that serene loan me . It was some of her collection of titles from Christian perspective and books about Jesus .
I yet to discover how I should serve the church because I have resisted the notion for sometime . But it will be apparent in God's good plan for me .
In the meantime , I will need to continue to study and be able to share about Jesus.

How the day of Sabbath will shake all you Knew!

Just the day, after the podcast of Joseph prince, he mentioned the Sabbath was on the gregorian calender's Sundown Friday, I had it in my head, fine. Since my Paster said, it is , IT IS. As I know normally he studies the isreali know what/ how / etc, and i thought it must be right. (he is)

Yesterday, on my way back from grocery shopping, there was 1 China Chinese(she is also studying in korea + fluent in korean ) that came to me and share on the word of lord .
She want to share 1 major point: that God had a Father God (cos he made a man, and he made a woman) and there is a Mother God.

She said the the bride of God (bride means woman) that will return to God eventually (that there was a Mother God). I nearly wanted to smack her. I told her that I disagreed with her. I told her the Church(that is all saved Christians WHO Believe in the purpose of Jesus' Resurrection) is the bride.
While I am typing this, even my pastor for some years had been misunderstood on some texts, only in recent years, he had corrected some of what he used to speak of.

Really, yesterday It was Debunking what she knew.

The other one that we had discuss was the Sabbath. She thinks that Sabbath was on our Gregorian Calender's Sunday. No I said. In isreal, Sundown Friday IS the Sabbath. She challenged me that if Jesus died and rose on the Jesus rose on the 7th day and Passover was on the 7th day - shouldn't it be the Sabbath day ?

I found my answer yesterday : Jews use the Lunar Calender not Solar calender.
There are certain fractions of the lunar day that are really fractions, the Jewish calendar had compensated by adding to the final leap year etc.

Despite

Yes, despite the birth pains of this world, I will continue to be in praise of the Lord.

Back when I was a child, the earthquakes, floods, droughts and twisters had been going on and on in the TV telecasts.
Out of Hell, the earth will roar, and the waves will roar, and we see exploding volcanos and Tsunamis.

In the recent days, there are more and more. The Katrina in the USA, Floods in the AU, Earthquakes in India and Japan (Tsunami too).
The birth pains are starting and the contractions are getting sooner and sooner. But it won't end just yet, not for another 2-2.5 decades at least.

In the following span of time I will continue to learn more of the Lord and to seek his favor and protection and more wisdom. To know more about the Lord and to seek understanding of Him.
When Thailand was overcame with Floods, I asked the Lord to stop the Floods and to use Thailand to start his Revival and from there to the rest of the World.
It is often misunderstood by many that:
1. The GOD gave the disasters :: No! When Adam ate the fruit of knowledge - he gave Satan (the small god) the reign of this World.
2.Time :: God doesn't operate in OUR perception of TIME. When the prayer spoken plainly, I had experienced (in our time) - quickly the prayer was met, some longer (like in the magnitude of things that need to change - like me in the past - my thinking, my behavior).

I've learnt to trust the Lord in my recent days in praise and understanding. He is the only way to my life.

A little one

My friend is having a baby . Today is 1 week a little early. she has yet to be delivered. She will be fully and perfectly formed when it is time for her to be delivered , In Jesus's name !

Salt

I heard a sermon today , it didn't occur to me before about salt .
I. The verse "you are the salt of the earth and if the salt had lost it's flavor where shall it be seasoned " ?

Salt makes the person who takes it feel thirsty . In the same if you are thoroughly seasoned with salt , non believers will be drawn to you , to see why you are salted / blessed and they will know who blesses you.
In the same , share the salt , that those who wish-to partake of the salt , part take in Jesus , the living water to quench the thirst.

Fresh supply every day any time

I think I ran out of energy a long time back .
I thought that time away from God will give me some space to clear my head . I was confused at a Lot of things. Wondering why my faith is not turning out thr way it should be , that was in abundance in my life .

Indeed that the World had managed to dig and plant something in me that time , that is doubt of God . In order for Him to bless me that I should perform. But that is Wrong ! Because Jesus had came and died for me that I should be in the place of rest that when I draw my fresh supply from God , I am blessed .
Today I had finally broke my one exodus and went to church .
The message today is fairly plain and easy to get it.
Solomon speaks of them tiny animals or creatures that he finds worthy to be life lessons that we should learn from
1. Ants - hive mind. By it sled one only , any one can kill the ant . But when the ant work together the whole hive gets going and sustained
2. Lizards - they stick . Sticking around fir some what difficult situations like upside down from the ceiling or situations or persistence in any situation.
3 rock badger - they recognize thir venerability and used the rock as their safe refuge.
4. The locusts-unity. In 1 locust , there is not much harm to any crop. They are also without a King , yet they can go forth ad an army , ate up anything in their path . In other words cripple the farmer's or country's economy.
In summary of these , God's people to be united , yo be persistent , to stick around and to take Jesus as their rock and refuge, that we are blessed !!

What seeds are we sowing?

In the parable of the seeds, it says that there are many types of soil conditions that the seeds are scattered on.
Those in poor soil may spout fast, but die later.
Those in rockly soil have a hard time growing up and barely living
Those in good soil, grow up nicely

However, all of these seeds need watering.
How much of water to water these seeds?
Just enough water.

Why do I want to bring this up?

Before we grew, and into maturity. Each of us, were once a seed.
We receive 'water' from all the sources around us, some 'water' flood us and make us choke and drown, some 'water' are nuggets of nourishment and support and guidance and we grew up tall and straight.

In the same, we water onto others, give 'water' to support another life.
When we give to others for Jesus, Jesus will fill us up. As like Jesus at the well, and the Samaritan women drew water (knowledge of God)  from Jesus, that she is nourished,and Jesus in giving out water(knowledge of God) is replenished.

Thus to all seeds, do not despair of the situations, go towards Jesus for watering!

In wisdom

Sighs.
It is often times when I view the world , the place of dust. Where it seems to revel in itself. It seeks to promote it wiles and means . Never had it stopped , perhaps only for the end if times .

I hear for those who see wisdom in names , in numbers , in parables and understanding that of wisdom will unlock the gate out of this world and unto Jesus .

I am sadden at times when the lost yet to return .
Though I've returned , I've not washed my feet often enough and was hard of hearing . My own reserves had gone flat out. This Sunday I will go to have my batteries all charged up and hear if good news first hand .

Of the roaring of waves and the spliting of atoms , how many can stand in the way of the world and survive ? The lost still don't realize how much the world wants to destroy them. Yet day after day the lost carried on being caught up in the web .
It is hard to watch all of this every day.

Clear Skies

the Skies here in Singapore is almost cloudless azure as I could possibly remember in all my years
In as much as I know the the salvation signs had manifested in the tidal of Japan in 2011 in the roaring of the waves and the splitting of Dynamite / fission , it brings a grim knowledge that there are still many that had not returned Home.

The other day I saw a Rainbow in the morning sky, it was still a little rainy when I saw it.
I remember his memorial in the Skies, that when I hold my bow in the skies, that I will not flood the earth again. In this fact, at least there won't be floods or ice caps melting at a drastic rate.

Too many things that the world knows what it wants, but I know I am safe in the knowledge of my father's protection.


In this prayer I say, My Lord, My Dad, Bring the children to return to Your Home , show them Your Finished Work in Jesus.
 For those that are in the area of Death or will be, experience his Mercy and do return to Him. Amen.

For those that refuse, one day when the doors close, there will be no more opening.

Incline our ears

In other words, humble our ears, to advice of the Grace that is showered on us.
We do not need to give and God should only be the only one providing for us.
We will use Jesus - our bread of life to eat of him (To engage with prayers and songs of praise) , to use the Oil of Abundance to smooth our lives and to drink of the Wine of his blood for our Rightousness !

Recently, it is more apparent for me to bless more, to speak blessings more.. that I've realise what my position is , that is to receive from God. I rely on his Favor and Grace and Protection.

On Leave day

It is nice to be on leave once a while.
To be totally away from work and to sleep in on a weekday.
Today I woke up close to noon time, a quick check in on the work computer to see any urgent emails and off to lunch with dad.
We brought lunch back to his home, and shared with my mom.


Mom came over to fix my washing machine faucet that was leaking. Then it was done.
I had sewed one dress hem, and cleared out some old electronics and old cds and bags. The room's looking neater =)


Then a quick bath and off to parents' home for dinner.


A good day indeed !

Travelers

In the days of old and the times now , many made the voyage and flights to lands beyond. A new experience if wonder that machines over sea and over airs delivered them to sights and wonders unexpected.

I saw a crowd from china , in business suits , flip flops , identical bags sans tour leader , it must had been a marvel to travel. I hope more people have the opportunity to travel .

This Season

Here in Singapore, we just conculded the General Elections in the early hours of Sunday.

Across all the GRCs, I had witnessed that there are many raising voices of concerns, although the current political party had won.

The populace felt that their means of establishing their livelihood and the means to start their own families are reduced.

One would agree that if you are born in the lowest of low, the only way that you may climb up is via good education. And if the options are not publicized or offered to their parents nor the child, I think this family unit will fall apart.
Yes, essentially elites remain.

In comparison, salary of ministers are paid in the thousands and Ks per month, and the mainstay of the populace are in only max 50K or less a year. Would it take public speaking skills and a degree in our National Universities to produce the key to the politics and civil service and ensure that kind of livelihood ? Or the high salary is to prevent corruption? Is that the real reason?
In this country that the average person does not earn more than the average person in the USA, but our ministers are earning more than the USA senators, how is that justified ? Tell me.


WE are the Singaporeans.
Foreigners that our forefathers are, and we are the children that are born here. None had more leverage or qualifications over another.




There is no value in the existing ministers if their next rule further alienates us. Have your priorities straight.

We do not give up living but we will give them up and we will close the doors on them.

Maybe then..

I was just back from a week long trip in Taiwan with hubby. On Friday, we got the news from my dad, who called me to ask if my flight was diverted / delayed as the Tsunami and earthquake was on Sendai Japan, Taipei was near the Southern tip of Japan.

It was strange world after all. Thanks to the g-o-d, can't wait to see it fallen and locked away. bleh!

Since young, the images and the knowledge of devastation had haunted me for the longest time. I had often wondered why that God did not intervene. Thanks to Adam somewhat for giving the g-o-d the reins. bleh!

However, and despite this, I was glad and blessed that God had kept me away from Japan, as I had short listed Tokyo as the destination for the same traveling period (that would had coincide with the earthquake). I reminded me of the sharing by our pastor of one of our brother's son who was at the 911 incident. He was late somewhat to work, which he was normally prompt to report to work. As he was later than the usual the plane had already crashed.

Maybe

It is whacked, to see friends to be in the pits.. it is strange that when a life line is thrown in, most don't take it. ....

It's a cold rainy day

The rains brings a reprieve to the much thirsty greens around here. In fact, it had been raining way too much as compared to the previous number of years.
I'm having a cup of EB now, nice aroma and strong taste. I like the brands of TWG, Marks & Spencer, Dilmah.
Lady EG also good. =)

Weather change

It is that time of the year when january arrives in bloom, that the cool winds no longer blow and the sunshine in the wind and the light is greatly in abundance. Great for planting !
I am trying to grow some morning glory , cosmos and wheat grass , they were planted in dec , hope that they will continue to grow nicely.
Probalynext I will tey to get a shelf , the many little pots are getting messy ;p

A little quiet

much too noisy in the day , everyone is awake and make too much noise .
Some times I just want to huddle in bed and sleep the day through , yum
It had been raining too much and my plants seemed too cold to bar the winds , theywere falling this way that way
Seedings aren't doing much either , the slow growth is amazingly slow heeh ....

Where the lamb go , the shepherd seeks

Jesus told a parable / story
A shepherd has many sheep, and when one gies missing , he left all the other sheep to look for the lost sheep. He may look in all th cranked , the tourney bushes, the hilly sides and waterways, just to find that lost sheep. And when that he found it , he came back as the proudest and happiest , for he had found his jewel and he placed his jewel in his care again!

Just like when we are in th darkest , when we are caught in the webs if this world, that when we fell in the hilly rocks, that we could no longer walk , that if we were drowning , call to him to search and rescue. Despite your own struggles against this shepherd that has come to free you , he gas already bright the offer of help.
Take it !

When Joshua was fighting the armorites , he asked God to halt the sun and the moon, Joshua 10:12 , and the sun stopped.
The son of man had never stopped while he was walking. The only time that he stopped was when a blind man shouted , Jesus ! While Jesus was walking in the crowd. The blind man was brought to Jesus , Jesus asked the blind man what was it that the blind man wanted . The blind man requested that he might receive his sight if Jesus was willing . And Jesus gave sight to the blind man. In this , call out in prayer , in your asking of God , that when the prison exchang e was made at the cross , that the Grace of God of Jesus was now for the little children who believed in Jesus , that alll the blessings be released for the lambs who returned to the Lord !

P.s. Notice when sheep are mentioned , it is used in the context of those who belongs to the shepherd I.e. Those who believes
Those who are newly saved are called as little children , they are liken to ones of faith in the Lord aka the little lambs

Thorns

We all carry some form of thorns with us , in our words , thoughts , behavior or actions . Some formed some deep scars that we barely noticed , we barely even thought about hem any more , cobwebs had formed over them , we hoght just when they Re out from our sight hat we barely know barely see , bt they nonetheless know that the scars scared our own perceptions of things that are in the plain .
Did we stop to review if those that we had neglected those hat we had hurt?
Sometimes when I was reviewing what my pastor said , he said that the world tried to make us think to work harder , try harder , use the body's own effort to do harder aka self effort , but there is no lasting gain. WhT we are really doing is stress . What we should be doing is to look and rely on the finished work of Jesus and th Grace will follow naturally and not to work for it to happen.
Where little lambs rest and forlick on the passenger and shepherd will guard. Let the shepherd do his job , and we believe that our shepherd will do his job , it will be perfect !

In the darkest time in the night when Grace fell

Most people during 3 to 6 am , they are fast asleep at this period of the night . When the Lord's people were hungry and have nothing to eat after they escaped from the desert, they cried to the Lord. The Lord said to Moses and told him to tell the people that they will have manna in the morning. The next day , the people found manna on the dew and near hierarchy own tents. Let all the people take the manna according to his own appetite and need, do not take more than needed , for it will spoil and yest when tomorrow come , there will be a batch of manna daily .
Jesus said that he is the bread , he also informed the disciples hat when thy pray , give us our daily bread.
Bread is a sustenance that provides energy , to start of things, for many it is a meal in the morning . In informing that JEsus himself is the bread , is to invite all to part-take of Jesus daily. To rely on Jesus' finished work on the cross and to have a reminder to self that he is constantly with us that we do no need to lack and that we will always have a fresh supply of Jesus where ever that we might be(near our tents /homes) and that we will fellowship with him According to our appetites, I.e. Every Sunday service , daily prayer or monthly prayer etc etc. It is the same symbolic reason why at he last supper that Jesus broke bread and divided between the disciples , that those who part take by eating the bread will have a part of him , to remember him and to hold fast to his finished work!
